9 climate-controlled indoor courts in Pflugerville โ about 45 minutes from Dripping Springs via 290 East. Voted #1 in Austin, open 7 days a week, 6am to 11pm.
The 290 corridor west of Austin has almost no indoor pickleball โ outdoor only, weather-dependent. Pickleland is the closest serious indoor club.
Hill Country summers fry outdoor courts by 10am. Inside it's 72ยฐ and the ball flies the same in July as it does in January.
Most Dripping Springs regulars stack their visit with a Domain stop or a brewery run on the way home โ turns the drive into a half-day out.
Smart move: stack Pickleland with other errands so the drive feels free.
We have members from across Dripping Springs โ most are within 25 minutes. If you're nearby and not on the list, you'll fit right in.
"Avoid I-35 between 4 and 7. 290 East to MoPac North to SH-45 East skips downtown entirely โ and on the way home you're 5 minutes from Round Rock Donuts."
"45 minutes isn't nothing. We make it work by carpooling Saturday mornings and stacking errands on the way home โ coaching and programming are worth the drive."
Outdoor courts in Dripping Springs proper and a few in the Belterra/Bee Cave area, but no full-size indoor club on the 290 West side. Pickleland is the closest serious indoor option.
290 East is fine outside of rush. MoPac and SH-45 East stay steady. Avoid I-35 through downtown from 4-7pm โ use MoPac instead.
